Museums

1. National museum, Benin city: it is a museum located in the Central part of Benin city at King square. The museum has a significant number of artefacts such as terracotta , bronze figures and cast iron pieces
2. Nation museum, Lagos: it was founded in 1957. It has the largest collection of Nigerian arts, it is located in onikan ,Lagos.
3. Kaduna museum: it was opened in 1957. The museum is a collection of artefacts and craft work
4. Jos museum: it is a museum located in Jos, plateau state. It was established in 1952. The museum contains NOK terracotta heads and artefacts
5. Else Museum: it is a museum located in Esie,Kwara state. The museum was first opened in 1945. The museum houses over 1000 stone figures or images representing human beings 

Cultural centres

1. National theater,Lagos: it was built in 1976 .it was located in Iganmu, Lagos.
2. Mbari cultural and art centre: it is located at Ikenegbu in central Owerri in Imo state.
3. National Gallery of arts: it is located in Kano City,Kano state
4. Oyo state cultural centre: it was built on mokola hill in the heart of Ibadan in 1977.
