Living as God’s children means behaving in a way that shows we belong to God. When we accept Jesus Christ, we become children of God.
In 1 John 3:1, the Bible says:
“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God.”
As God’s children, we must:
A child of God must not lie, steal, cheat, or fight. Instead, he or she should show love, honesty, and kindness. Living as God’s child means representing God everywhere — at home, school, and church.
